python-celery software package provides async task/job queue based on message passing, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-celery
python-celery is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-celery package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-celery *
You will get with python-celery package name, version, architecture and description in a table
